Two-Page Layouts

If you’re a scrapper, you’ve had those times where you have too many photos to use on one page. No amount of cropping will get them on one page. So, why not do a 2 page layout? I have to say, I love this style of layout. It allows you to use more photos and to add more detail. And use a special piece of paper without hiding it behind pictures.

I typically use something about the subject to anchor the layout. In the layout above, it’s the logo of the place where we went on a dolphin excursion in Mexico (which was sooo fun!).

In this layout, I used a post card from the Pima Air and Space Museum in Tucson, AZ. This layout uses photos of the Boneyard, a place where they store the aircraft not in service.

And, lest anyone say my pages are very symmetrical and not very embellished (my sisters), look at this one from our tour of the Maker’s Mark distillery. They had tons of items that I could use to embellish the pages.

This is a pretty easy way to be able to document some of your favorite photos without sacrificing because of space. What are other ways you can make the most of your pages? We’d love to hear your ideas!
